Psychotherapy and Consultation Fees

Psychotherapy is not typically or widely covered by the OHIP system. If you are covered by an insurance provider you can consult your provider to determine if the designation "Master of Social Work" is a covered discipline. Many insurance providers are now including this coverage.

Lisa also provides services to people who are provided with compensation from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board. If you have been a victim of a crime and are in the process of applying for criminal injuries you can apply for therapist's fees to be added to your claim.

If you are associated with either Veterans Affairs or the Canadian Military you can access services through Blue Cross as Lisa is listed as a qualified provider.

Many employers now have Employee Assistance Programs in place as an added benefit. Lisa is a service provider with Health Canada. If your workplace is covered by this EAP you can contact the call centre to specifically request Lisa as your therapist.

For people not covered by any of these benefits there is a set hourly fee. Please call to inquire as to the present rate. Should fees pose a financial hardship there are a number of spaces reserved at a reduced fee rate. Please contact Lisa to inquire as to availability.
